"75% of resumes are rejected by ATS" is fake data

That number shows up on almost every competitor landing page, but it traces back to a 2012 sales pitch by Preptel, a resume-optimisation company that shut down the following year and never published a methodology. RezScore tested roughly 5,000 resumes uploaded in 2026 and found 93% parsed cleanly.

The problem is the other 7% — two-column layouts, tables, text boxes, image-only scans, contact details buried in headers and footers. We only tell you about problems that are actually there. We do not sell reports with fear.
